Presentation of a book “Todays internet is not ready for e-voting”

On 18th July 2011 there was a presentation of a book “Todays internet is not ready for e-voting” held at Tallinn City Hall.

The book includes an article by attorney at law Jüri Sirel “Judicial regulation of e-voting and the relating court practice” that analyses judicial weaknesses of e-voting system used in Estonia and the relating newest court practice. The purpose of the book is to explain for the public problems and risks of e-voting and to raise a wider public discussion to establish a secure e-voting system appropriate for a state that is based on a rule of law.
